In the evening, we will see a fascinating performance of traditional music and dance followed by the Welcome dinner in one of the best restaurants in the city.

Day 2 - Khugno Khan Natural Preserve
Today we leave the bustling city behind for the Mongolian countryside. After about 4-hour driving we will reach Elsen Tasarkhai, or "Piece of Sands". This stretch of sand is a long strip that originates in the Gobi and stretches all the way into the central aimags of Mongolia. We will hike around the Mount Khugno Khan visiting a small monastery at its southern foot and, if luck enough, we might spot ibex and other wildlife.

Day 3 - Orkhon Waterfall
Today we will continue our journey to the narrow valley of Orkhon River, which flows through spectacular volcanic landscape. The impressive waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20,000 years ago. We will visit Tuvhon Monastery in the thick forest.

The Lake Hovsgol is one of the most scenic spots in Mongolia. This gorgeous alpine lake is surrounded by high mountains, meadows and forests, a complete contrast to the rest of Mongolia.
